The Chairman of the Pakistan Human Development Fund (PHDF) visited a community school in Bari Imam, established under the Zero Out of School Children (OOSC) Program led by the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD).
This initiative, titled the Zero Out of School Children (OOSC) Project – ICT, was launched by the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (MoFE&PT), executed by NCHD, and jointly funded by PHDF, NCHD, and MoFE&PT.
The project was developed with the core objective of eradicating the issue of out-of-school children in Islamabad, ensuring that every child regardless of socioeconomic background has access to quality education. It is a comprehensive and multi-dimensional program designed to tackle both the supply and demand sides of education. This includes expanding access to schools and boosting enrollment through strong community engagement and the establishment of local support systems.
